"Most Valuable Millennial" Goes to...

Arbor Financial is pleased to announce that Vice President of Commercial and Private Banking Kenny Leonard was recently recognized by Corp! Magazine as one of the periodical’s “Most Valuable Millennials” as profiled in their recent issue. 

The magazine compiles the list every year as a way to recognize those people driving Michigan’s economic successes, and making business happen in the state, as well as serving the communities in which they live and work, and acting as strong leaders within their organization. Read more





Board Member Honored with Distinguished Service Award

Arbor Financial Credit Union is pleased to announce that Board of Directors Vice Chair Richard Cahow has been honored as the recipient of the 2018 James E. Fetterolf Distinguished Service Award.

Cahow joined the Arbor Financial Board of Directors in 2001, and has served the credit union and its members as chair of the Audit Review Committee, the Education Committee, and the
Delinquency and Policy Committees. He was elected as Vice Chairman of the Board in 2005, aposition he holds to this day. He currently chairs the Personnel and Future Planning
Committees. Says David Aubry, Chairman of Arbor Financial’s Board of Directors, “Rick has received manyawards and accolades for excellence in teaching for other volunteer work. He fully exemplifiesthe credit union philosophy of people helping people and is very deserving of this award.“ Read more
 


$2,500 Raised By Staff for Ministry with Community

Ministry with Community serves over 170,000 meals per year to those in the Kalamazoo area, as part of their ongoing effort to empower people to make positive life changes.

On Thursday, April 5, representatives from the Arbor Financial Credit Union, in Kalamazoo, were pleased to present a check to Ministry with Community in the amount of $2,500, from funds raised in a silent auction and through Arbor Financial’s ‘Donate to Wear Jeans’ initiative.

The silent auction was organized through Arbor Financial’s Caring Committee, a group of Arbor Financial employee volunteers who select, organize and execute philanthropic initiatives in our communities. Read more
