At Arbor Financial, we focus on giving back to our local Michigan communities every day through scholarships, corporate sponsorships, financial education, and contributions to local charitable organizations. Whether we’re marching in a parade, interacting at expos, or teaching financial reality fairs in your classroom, you’re sure to spot an Arbor Financial employee in the crowd.
In order to feel connected to our communities and the organizations within them, we developed and dedicated a staff-led committee, known as the Caring Committee. This committee focuses their efforts, funds, and donations on places within our communities that include but are not limited to, local non-profits, animal shelters, children's hospitals, and mental health foundations.
We believe in the value of higher education and proudly enhance opportunities and advancement through the Arbor Financial Scholarship Program. We're proud to support the ambitions of our youth to improve their lives through higher education by awarding a total of $572,000 in scholarships as of 2023.
Giving back to our community has always been an Arbor Financial cornerstone. And it's just as important to our employees. We offer our staff members up to eight hours of paid time off annually that they can use to volunteer for Michigan community groups, school events or credit union committees.
Youth focused educational events are abundant here. You’ll find us in your classrooms, at financial reality fairs, taking field trips with you, and facilitating lunch and learn workshops. Whether it be winter, spring or summer break, our youth members and the community come in droves to participate in our educational seminars.
Throughout the year, Arbor Financial employees are able to take part in company sponsored events. You can find us running in races, attending half-time shows at sporting events, celebrating in parades, and so much more. Stop by and say hi!
