Arbor Financial Credit Union Welcomes Michael Thomas to the Team

Arbor Financial Credit Union is pleased to announce that Michael has joined the Mortgage Lending team as a Mortgage Loan Originator. Michael is a graduate of Western Michigan University and has over 15 years of experience in the finance and business industries, with many of those years focused on the mortgage experience. He says, “ I am excited to start working with members and help connect them to the great options we have to make their homeownership dreams a possibility. The thing I love most about my job is helping people make their goals a reality.” Michael will be focusing on assisting members and business partners in Portage/ Three Rivers and the surrounding areas. Michael specializes in purchase, refinance, FHA, MSHDA, and construction financing for primary, vacation, and income-producing properties. He enjoys working with first-time homebuyers, as well as members looking to utilize the equity in their home with a Home Equity Loan, and members looking for a second home or vacation property.

When Michael is not working, he enjoys traveling, listening to live music with friends, spending time with his family, and working on home projects and his classic car. As a Michigan native, he also enjoys cheering on the Detroit Lions and is hoping for a Super Bowl appearance soon.
