2017 Arbor Financial Scholarship Program

About the Program

A total of $388,000 has been awarded through Arbor Financial Credit Union's Scholarship Program, which was established in 1999 to enhance the educational opportunities and advancement of the credit union's member/owners. Scholarships are awarded annually to high school seniors who not only demonstrate academic achievement, but community involvement, extracurricular activities and financial need as described.
Arbor Financial Credit Union awards 18 students with $1,000 scholarships and three $2,000 scholarships for a total of $24,000 to 21 outstanding students.

The three $2,000 scholarships are the Donna VanWestrienen Scholarship and Robert E. Treloar Scholarship in honor of two individuals who each served on the board of directors for over twenty years, and the Robert S. Hunt Scholarship in honor of Arbor Financial Credit Union's retired President/CEO who led the credit union for 30 years.
