We have been busy serving our membership during this public health challenge through our virtual services, and we are truly excited to announce the opening of our lobbies!

Keeping You Safer

You will notice some changes we have made to our lobbies as we continue to monitor state and federal guidelines. For everyone's safety, we have made the following adjustments:

  • Social Distancing - We will be adhering to social distancing guidelines in our lobbies. Please use the floor markings to maintain at least six feet from others while inside.
  • Cough Guards - We have installed acrylic cough guards at many of our service areas.
  • Masks - We are requesting that visitors plan on wearing a mask when onsite where social distancing is not able to be achieved.

We continue to offer services from the comfort of your home, and you can schedule an appointment to meet in-person or by phone, or you can reach us at (269) 375-6702 between 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, and 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. 

We also offer the ability to apply online for:

  • New Accounts (Savings, Checking, New Member, etc.)

You have easy access to your money 24 hours a day through mobile or online banking. And, you can always visit our drive-thrus or access cash at any of our 37,000 fee-free ATM locations. We are making adjustments to the requirements of our free Momentum Checking to benefit you during this unusual time.
For the month of April, we are reducing the number of swipes you need to earn more:

  • 20 or more monthly debit card purchases will earn 5.00% APY* (reduced from 30 or more purchases)

  • 10-19 monthly debit card purchases will earn 2.00% APY* (instead of 1.00% APY*)

Like many financial institutions across the nation, our mobile and online banking systems are experiencing intermittent down time due to an overload from excessive online banking usage. We are working diligently with our systems provider to restore the issue, and apologize for the inconvenience this may be causing. You may use this link HERE to check the status of your stimulus check from the IRS.

This link will also provide you with the following resources and functions: 

  • If you have not received your stimulus payment yet, it allows you to check the status of yours, so you'll know approximately when it will reach your bank account or be mailed.
  • If you filed tax returns in 2018 and/or 2019 and did not provide your direct deposit information -- meaning that you either chose to receive your tax refund as a check, or didn't get a refund at all -- you'll be able to share this information with the IRS if you choose to do so.
  • If your payment hasn't been issued yet, you can confirm whether you want to receive it by direct deposit or check. (Note: Direct deposit will be much faster.)

The "Stay Home, Stay Safe" executive order issued by Governor Whitmer is in effect for the next three weeks, and we wanted to assure you that Arbor Financial is here for you during this time. We have already taken important steps to help keep employees and members healthy, but now it is necessary to bolster our efforts by further limiting the amount of people who come into the branches.


Branches: Drive-Thru for Transactions, Meetings by Appointment

As a financial institution, Arbor Financial is deemed an essential service provider during this COVID-19 response, and we will remain open to serve our members. However, in light of the Governor's order, we will now have an appointment-only policy for members who need to meet with us inside one of our branches. You may schedule an in-branch appointment online or by calling (269) 375-6702. Please continue to use our drive-thrus for transactions.

As a credit union, our employees are considered to be part of the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce as determined by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and is included in Governor Whitmer's order. We will be here for you throughout the COVID-19 situation, and you will continue to have full access to your money through our branch drive-thrusATMsonline banking and mobile app. Arbor Financial Credit Union is a federally insured financial institution through the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), and your money is safe and working for you.


Financial Relief Program

If you are being financially impacted, we are working with members to provide solutions with our Arbor Financial Relief Program, including fee-free Skip-a-Payment options, Relief Loans, 90-Day No Pay Loan options, and possible relief for mortgage or commercial loan payments.

  • Apply for a mortgage or refinance your existing mortgage online with historically low rates being offered.
  • Access your money at over 37,000 surcharge-free ATMs through the CO-OP ATM Network and 5/3rd Bank Jeanie Network.
  • Use one of our many drive-thru windows at the branches for convenience.
  • Speak with someone at a branch or schedule an appointment.
    • Rest assured that if you do, we have taken additional steps in our daily cleaning procedures and have made hand sanitizers readily available for you. Our staff has been made aware of best practices recommended by the CDC to help ensure the safest environment possible.
